Developed by Purdue University, this is a late-maturing, deep red apple with good keeping qualities. Fruit is medium to large in size. Tree is vigorous and spreading with good annual bearing habits. Highly resistant to fire blight and cedar apple rust. Great for orchards or wildlife plantings. Grafted on bud 118 for winter hardiness, collar rot resistance, and adaptability to a wide range of soils. Can get 20 feet tall. Fruit ripens mid-October to early November. Needs Pollinator.
